This is the Rampart-SSH main interface.
What you see here is the main terminal, the clipboard viewer, and some of the logging options.
Don’t assume any of this is complicated. The learning curve
small and the features are simple.

The active log #1 was selected so you can see the open file button was pressed to view the log.
Once you learn the workflow designed into this tool you will wonder how you ever lived without it. Everything you type is logged in a buffer file as you work. You can view the buffer file by clicking the “view buff” button. These log files are designed to allow you to work fast and efficiently without having to constantly capture and manage output from your screens. You will also notice the notepad below. This allows you to add text quickly as you troubleshoot to be added to a ticket or to be used as a viewable reference at as you work.

The menu options will read the data from the line you selected and parse it to build Cisco commands for you.
What this screen is showing you is that you get to see the clipboard data in the blue box before you paste it into the terminal.

This is the optional integrated search and reporting tool. This is a very powerful search interface that lets you parse through massive amounts of data so you can see what you’re focused on. Sure you can use grep a file or multiple files using UNIX, but many times you don’t know what you’re trying to focus on when troubleshooting. Sometimes the amount of data or the number of queries is overwhelming. With this integrated search you can do a simple search then focus in quickly. More features will be added later to improve the reporting features of this search tool. If you purchase this option future upgrades to this option will be free.
